West Coast Swing Lessons?
Hey everyone,
I'm planning on doing some beginning West Coast Swing lessons next month at the Ballroom Dance Company in Tigard. Would anyone else like to join in?...I know that Heidi was interested in going. West Coast Swing is my favorite dance by far. You can dance to most hip-hop, pop/rock, blues, R&B, soul, jazz, and pretty much any song that has a medium to slow tempo. There are lessons Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday taught by different people. The lessons are $35 for 5 weeks. The Thursday series starts this week (10/30), the Monday series starts next week (11/3), and the Wednesday series starts the week after that (11/11) (11/12). Let me know if you are interested.

Carpooling?
So, do people want to carpool to the class? I am happy to do either the Monday or the Wednesday night classes, so whatever works for everyone else. Let me know.

Sad news
It looks like Kathy LaVeine isn't teaching a beginning West Coast class this month on Wednesday. Patrick, if you and Jen would like to start the second week of the Monday class, the class is pretty empty and I'm sure we could easily teach you the stuff we learned the first day.

West Coast Swing is a lot different than what I thought it was but it looks like fun. I'd be interested in the Monday series. Would that class start at 6:30?
