Boardgame night, 10/6/2008 READ THIS, THINGS ARE DIFFERENT THIS WEEK

Boardgame night will not be held at my house this week. Instead, Datrick is hosting a debate night that will also have some board games. He also has video games (Rock Band) etc.
Email myself or Datrick or post here if you don't know his address (basically drive to the Civic Stadium downtown off Burnside). Carpooling is recommended if possible, as the neighborhood parking only lets you park for 1.5 hours at a time, so we'll have to play musical cars.
Game night will start a bit later than normal due to some logistical issues. Nobody will be at Datrick's house until probably around 6:45pm, so probably aim to get there at 7pm.
Datrick is providing food. So come hungry.
Let me know if you have any questions.

7pm?
Um, not that I can be there or anything (wish I could), but doesn't the debate start at 6pm?

The magic of DVR. :)
The magic of DVR. :)

But of course
How silly of me. ;)

Blazer game tonight
I am going to the pre-season game tonight, which starts at 7:00 as well, so I'm not going to make it this week.
I want to see Greg Oden play basketball before he gets hurt again (joking, of course...)

Sweet
That should be fun (not GO getting hurt, but the game). I'm going to the Golden State game tomorrow night. Hopefully Oden actually plays in my game, as I've heard rumors he may only play in your game. And I don't think Brandon Roy is playing in my game either. I hope my starters aren't like Batum, Hill, Jackson, Sergio and Diogou or something. They may need to bring Maurice Lucas off the bench.

I'm in!
I'm in for tonight, but I'm afraid I don't know where Patrick lives...
:-)

I would suggest car-pooling
I would suggest car-pooling with someone (perhaps Goldie who is coming). The apartment building I'm in is 950 SW 21st Ave, Portland, OR (the Portland Towers) at the corners of 21st and Salmon. When you call me on the call box, it will call my cell phone and I can let you in and let you know the apartment number.
You can park anywhere in the neighborhood that says Permit A parking required... but you have to move your car every 90 minutes until 8:30. At 8:30, you can leave it wherever because they stop checking after 10pm. The other option is just to take the Max, and stop off at the Kings Hill station (right after the Goose Hollow station). From there, you just walk up Salmon (past the snooty Multnomah Athletic Club).
If you need my cell phone, I'll send it to you over email... just send me an email at ophidiann -AT- gmail -DOT- com. :)
