Pumpkin carving

As Nat and I will be hosting a halloween party, we thought it could be fun to also have a pumpkin carving party. Anyone interested? I was going to get an electric knife to make some of the carving easier.
We were thinking of having it on the weekend of the 18-19th. We'll set a specific date/time soon, so chime in if you have a preference on either of these days or if you'd like to come.
Punch and pie.

probably
I would probably be interested. Nat doesn't like those kind of things, so she's out, but I may be interested. I'm not sure if I like them. I don't really enjoy being scared, but I also don't really recall ever being scared at these kind of things...

D'oh!
You beat me to the punch, Adam! Great idea but I'll be in San Francisco that weekend.

Not set in stone
We can move the carving party to another weekend. This coming weekend (11-12) is pretty busy for me, and is probably too early to carve pumpkins anyway. But we could do pumpkin carving on the weekend before halloween (24-25). We're pretty flexible and want to pick a day that is best for everyone (except Datrick).

Bad Date
The missus and I were looking forward to visiting you, but we had assumed you'd put the date closer to, you know, Halloween, like the next weekend. We have two commitments for the 18th down in Corvallis already, and a Sunday night would just be too much with the commuting. :(

Sounds good and...
would anybody be interested in going to a haunted house too??? Apparently there is a pretty good one under the Memorial Coliseum. Check out the link: it's called Fright Town.
