Announcement

Yeah, this is another one of those "holy crap, my high school/college friends are procreating!" kinds of things. Tom & I will be welcoming a new (human) member to our little family next April. Whee!

Congrats!
Congrats! I think you should name him (assuming it is a he) Patrick... because only cool people are named that.

Taken
Tom's older sister already beat us to the punch on that one. Guess that would make it easy for Tom's parents though.
"What are your grandsons' names?"
"Patrick."
"Patrick and...? Don't you have two of them now?"
"Yeah. They're both Patrick."

yay!
Congratulations! That is really exciting news!

That's awesome!
I want to see pictures of the belly as soon as you can tell! I'm so happy for you guys. April's a good month to be born (maybe he/she will have my birthday :). So, are you totally nauseous all the time?

Thanks!
When's your birthday, again? I'm due on the 15th. Of course, we all know how accurate due dates are. ;)
The whole morning sickness thing has varied quite a bit so far. Sometimes I feel really crummy, other times I feel perfectly fine, and snacking on something tends to help. I'm through the end of the 3rd month now, so supposedly I've been through the worst of it; I have seemed to be feeling good more often in the past couple of weeks. So that's good!
I have, however, been very tired, pretty much all the time. This has made meetings at work even more fun than usual. ;)

Already had it
They did an ultrasound at my first checkup (7 weeks). Pic's up here. :) I'm due for another one (wherein the lil' thing will look decidedly more human and less like a kidney bean) at the end of the month. They might be able to tell us the gender then, too!

Holy crap!
When were you going to tell me?!! ;)
