Edwards Was Almost Out...

Looks like Edwards was almost out of the race (at least that was the rumors going around this morning). His wife's cancer has resurged and it would make a lot of sense if he did drop out. But apparently they made the decision to stick with the race. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out for him and his family. I know some early criticism is that he is putting his career ahead of his wife... but my gut feeling tells me that he was ready to quit and his wife pushed him to continue on. No matter what... we'll see how it goes.

In any case, I'm still rooting for Obama... but ultimately Edwards would probably be my second choice out of the current Democrats running.
