I'm not very law-saavy but is this actually possible? Can someone sue for being a look-alike?

After speaking with the Nike and Jordan lawyers, the Jordan-look-alike dropped his case.

Yes... you can sue for anything. I could sue you Grayce for causing me emotional distress for spelling your name "Grayce" instead of "Grace". The difference is... you can't win every case. And notice he filed the lawsuit himself. I doubt a real lawyer would even represent him because they know there is absolutely NO basis. And even if a lawyer did represent him... it's because he would be paying the lawyer.
Overall, lawsuits like this are good for only one thing... to get attention. And unfortunately, that is what has happened. He will end up regretting going through this is as he will have to pay off any legal fees if it goes to actual court. And he might be fined for bringing up a frivolous lawsuit.
