E3 (the big game developers conference) is going on right now. I haven't really been keeping up with too much of the details... but here's some interesting things:
Sony Playstation 3 is going to be $500 for the base version... $600 for the premium version. Good luck on selling those Sony.
They are making a Warcraft movie (Legendary Pictures is making it). The unfortunate thing is this is a live action movie. So unless they have the budget that Lord of the Rings had... I really can't see this turning out well.
Nintendo Wii (the official new name of the new Nintendo system)... looks pretty promising. The demos and games sound very interesting. I still have to try the controller for myself before I'll make the decision... but I think it has lots of promise.
Lots of good looking PC, Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3 games in development. Let's see how things go.
Most looking forward to Spore! Saw new footage of the game and man it just looks like lots of fun.
I haven't really had time to look at a lot of the things I wanted to... but I think there's lots of promising things in the gaming world over the next year. Too bad I never seem to have time to play games anymore. :\
Wii
The Wii is going to be awesome. I wonder how long it will take me to cave in and buy one once it comes out...
