Advent Children!

After many delays, Advent Children has come out on DVD and I finally get to watch it with English subtitles :)! It also pleases me to see that it ranked #1 in DVD sales today and yesterday. It sounds silly and I don't know if rankings mean that much but it's nice to see that the movie is being supported! I encourage all! Here's what our friends at Penny-Arcade have to say about Advent Children: "This film contains scenes that may be totally fucking awesome. Your favorite characters may be rendered in extreme detail as they take part in mind-blowing battles set in familiar locales. Futuristic scabbard/motorcycles might be depicted in a way that makes them appear sweet."

Finally!

Jeez... how long ago was that supposed to come out? In any case, guess I have something new to pick up this weekend... if I can find a place that is selling it.

I really have a hard time believing people who haven't played Final Fantasy VII are going to enjoy it though. It's too intertwined with the events of that game. But it's at least worth a rental for those who want to see some interesting CGI and over the top action. :)

Not me!

I've only played the first three hours of FFVII and I still loved it. I didn't understand what was going on but there's enough action to compensate. The animation intrigued me more.

The action alone makes it enjoyable. Understanding the FFVII story though would make it a lot more enjoyable.
